  • How JBI Uses Your Contribution Wisely
  • All contributions to JBI International (established in 1931 as the Jewish Braille Institute) are welcome and are deeply appreciated. Through the generosity of our donors, JBI produces books, magazines, and special publications in Audio, Braille and Large Print. These materials make it possible for the blind and visually impaired to fully participate in Jewish educational, cultural, religious and communal life.

In recognition of the size and depth of its collection, JBI has been named an Affiliated Library of the United States Library of Congress and an Associate Affiliate of UJA-Federation of New York, though we receive no funds from either source. All of JBI's programs are supported by individual contributions, foundations, and bequests. That's why your help--at whatever level--is so meaningful. JBI is a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. JBI is listed with Guidestar and Tzedakah, Inc.
